Pennsylvania
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, often referred to as PA, is a state located in the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic regions of the United States. Pennsylvania is bordered by the states of New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio. Pennsylvania has been known as the Keystone State since 1802, based in part upon its central location among the original Thirteen Colonies. At the time, Pennsylvania was also considered a Keystone State economically, having both the industry common to the North and the agriculture common to the South.
Tourism
Pennsylvania is full of great things to see and do. In fact, Pennsylvania tourism accounts for 5% of the Gross State Product (GSP). Over 600,000 Pennsylvanians work in businesses supported by tourism and nearly two-thirds are small businesses. Pennsylvania has many historical sites, cultural and performing arts centers, sports teams and outdoor recreational activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy throughout the year.
There's no sales tax imposed on clothing purchases in PA. So make sure to do all of your shopping in Pennsylvania. Some people shop while on vacation in PA, while others vacation in PA to shop!
